Please note that from June 1st, 2019, Eurowings will be flying from
and landing at Area A in Terminal 1 instead of Terminal 2.
As the second-largest airline at Munich Airport,
Eurowings will be moving to Area A of Terminal 1 in summer 2019: this
change to flight handling for all flights is expected to take place in
June. Passengers will benefit from shorter distances within the
airport and can use all Eurowings service facilities easily and
conveniently in one all-inclusive area.
Eurowings, which has grown strongly in recent
years, will in future be the largest airline based in Terminal 1. This
not only saves time for passengers, but also makes it easier for them
to find their way about. It is just a few steps from the entrance
of the terminal building to the check-in counters and security
checkpoint. After the security check, you can get to your gates just
as quickly and directly. A shuttle connection between terminals is
available for any transfer passengers.
At the same time, Eurowings is ensuring a more
balanced use of capacity at Germany's second-largest airport. The move
will relieve the strain of more than two million Eurowings passengers
from Terminal 2 and its satellite terminal. This year, Munich Airport
will begin the conversion and modernisation of Terminal 1, equipping
the building with modern and effective aircraft handling processes.

Airport in the terminal information section.
